Research On The Agricultural Product Quality Safety Of Governmental Responsibility In Guangdong Province

With the rapid development of economy, economic globalization and agriculturalproducts trade, the quality safety of agricultural products influences not only people’s healthand life but also society, economy and stabilization, which draws great attention of everygovernment in the world. Therefore, investigation to the quality safety system ofagricultural products in China is of great significance for safeguarding consumers’health, regulating strategic agricultural structure, increasing farmers’ income,accelerating sustainable agriculture growth and enhancing agricultural products’competitive power in the international market.This paper from the analysis of a case of Guangdong province researches thegovernment responsibility in agricultural products safety supervision. Firstly, analyzing thequality safety of agricultural products theoretically is the theoretical basis of the qualitysafety system of agricultural products in China. The second mainly analysis the status ofthe system of government responsibility about the quality safety of agricultural products inGuangdong province, raises four aspects of questions in the system of governmentresponsibility about the quality safety of agricultural products. The third part is mainly testresearch and inspiration about three parts including legal and regulatory framework, thegovernment management system, and policy choice on the system of governmentresponsibility about the quality safety of agricultural products in the developed countries.According to three aspects of before, during, and afterwards the agricultural accidents, thefifth part is mainly to make perfect proposals to problems existing in the system ofgovernment responsibility about the quality safety of agricultural products in Guangdongprovince based on the experiences of developed countries. The titles strengthen the qualityand safety supervision of agricultural products so as to establish a sound supervision systemof agricultural products quality with the hope of safeguarding the people’s vital interests andsocial harmony and stability.
