In the modern market economy, the salary management is one of the mostimportant, the most sensitive part of the enterprise human resources management,directly affect the competitiveness of enterprises[1]. A good management system canimprove the operating performance, cost control, retain talent, to maintain the stabledevelopment of enterprises. Therefore, how to establish and the enterprise’s owndevelopment system and the scheme of compensation management matching, betterdevelopment of enterprise human resources potential, has become an importantresearch subject in human resource management. In this paper, taking Dalian Portbarge company salary management system as the research object, first of all to salarymanagement literature, secondly, company salary management status of Dalian Portbarge to do a systematic analysis to find out the enterprise at present salarymanagement problems. As a large state-owned barge company, Dalian Port bargecompany has strong shipping talent reserve, in recent years, the company advancedmanagement duty crew and serious loss of staff, how to retain talent, competitiveadvantage to keep the company in the industry, is the company management must facethe problem. Study found that Dalian Harbour Tug&Barge of Corporationcompensation management system in the low level of compensation, salary structureunreasonable, the non economic salary belittled, performance management becomes amere formality, salary increases of single way of problem. Finally, the author takes thecompensation management theory as the guide, combined with the actual situation inDalian Port and barge company to optimize its design salary management system.Hope that the new salary management system can give full play to the role ofincentive pay, make it become the company to attract talents, retain talents weapon, toexplore a set of suitable for Dalian Harbour Tug&Barge of Corporation use the salarymanagement system, to provide reference for the design of similar enterprise salarymanagement system.
