Established in1964, it is a state-owned key enterprise with both characteristics of traditional state-owned enterprises and professional ocean shipping companies. With the rapid development of maritime science and technology and worldwide economy, the importance of strategic management of human resources has become increasingly prominent. Maritime talent is the key resource of SY, and has already been the core-competitiveness of the shipping company. The set-up of maritime talents group has already become a vital part of HR development strategy of the company. The rapid and healthy development of international maritime industry requires a high-qualified management team in ocean shipping to meet its strategic needs, and as an important part to optimize the HR management, the training of maritime talents has been a high priority. In this circumstance, this thesis has made in-depth analysis and research in maritime training management system in SY, covering demand analysis, training plan making, management and practice of training organization, effectiveness evaluation and conversion of the training. It has also summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the crew training in SY.
