The Research On Application Of The Project Management In The Development Of Vehicle Communication Services System Of Liaoning Mobile

With the swift growth of location based industry in the global scale, there are increasing domestic development projects of location based product. Being the location base of China Mobile, Liaoning Mobile is responsible for providing location based product service throughout the country. As the primary product of base, vehicle communication services system is a kind of location product which is designed for enterprise users who have the demand to real-time control and manage its internal vehicles, through positioning, dispatching and track playback. Because the system structure is complex, multi-network element interfaces, and there is not uniform national standard, development of it is difficult. The construction management process of vehicle communication services system project highlighted many problems, such as progress control, quality management, planning issues, organizational structure issues, communication management, and human resources management issues. In order to solve these problems, we need to establish new management model and methods on the product development process urgently. Modern developed project management theory provides a new idea and opportunity for the use of project management knowledge to solve the problems in location product development. This paper concerns the application of project management to the vehicle communication services system development process. The main contents include:First, a brief description of project management theory;Secondly, feasibility analysis of knowledge of project management applied to vehicle communication services system development; Then, the existing main problems analysis of vehicle communication services system development process;Finally, the solution of the existing problems based on the project management theory and combined with the practice of vehicle communication services system development.In this paper, optimization of process by the application of the project management theory in vehicle communication services system development, and the formation of characteristics project management methods in the location based product development, and provide some reference for other operators to develope similar products.
