Food is the basic need for human survival and has important social position. People not only focus on filling a hungry stomach, but also pay more attention on the taste diversity, personalized services and dining convenience. More and more people want to meet their needs of enjoying food anytime and anywhere which prompts online food ordering becoming their preference. With the development of economic, the popularization of the Internet is wide, online food ordering become the new way of ordering food by replacing the traditional way. At the same time, on the background of global economic integration, more foreign companies started to engaged in Chinese traditional industries, including the catering. By using the internet, they expand their business in China. According to the differences between China and the West, this study focuses on the way of doing business of foreign online food ordering companies in China.First, this study makes a brief introduction of the situation about online food ordering industry globally. Then, by combining with PEST approach, it makes a deep research of Chinese environment. Next, it makes analyses from the perspective of operators and consumers individually to look into the available business modes and the influential factors by empirically examining with SPSS software. At last, this study would like to be more practical by studying the typical international company which named Delivery Hero as an example, and came up with improved plan combing with the former study of business environment, business models and the influential factors. In a word, it aims at providing theoretical and practical suggestions and selecting the suitable online food ordering model, which are not only contributing to the development of foreign online food ordering companies but also the local companies in China.
