Research On Development Status And Countermeasures Of Island Tourism Industry Of Changhai In The New Period

Island tourism is a sunrise industry which has great vitality and development prospects. There are rich tourism resources in Changhai which won the prize of National island forest park, Provincial scenic spots, and "Wild China" Top ten Marine Tourist Destination etc. Nowadays, the fast development of the tourism industry not only improved the island environment effectively, promoted the rapid development of economy and society of Changhai, but also increased the island residents’ living standards sharply. In2009, Changhai accomplished opening up partially, which marked the beginning of the new period, thus the tourism industry of Changhai developed quickly, but there are also some problems in the development process due to historical reason, such as the tourism hierarchy is relatively low, the access to the islands is not clear enough, the overall promotion campaign is not enough, the quality of tourism service is not high, the leading role of government is not obvious and soBased on the current development reality of Changhai island tourism, after reviewing of the literature and filed research, the author analyzed the development status of tourism industry in Changhai, dug out the problems in tourism industry. This paper analyzed the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of tourism in Changhai by using SWOT model. Combined with current macroeconomic policy environment and local situation, the author pointed out the direction and provided some concrete countermeasures for healthy and sustainable development of island tourism. The first is to make the government play the leading role; the second is to promote the carrying capacity of island tourism system; the third is to carry out the all-round publicity and marketing; the fourth is to strengthen the construction of island tourism talent team.
