With the mature development of RFID technology, sensor technology andcloud computing technology, IOT has become an inevitable choice for building amodern industry system, improved the core competitiveness of industry andachieved sustainable development of the economic society. It has been a strategiccommanding elevation of the new round in economic and technology. At present,the IOT industry chain has been formed, but its present situation can’t fit thedemand of the national economy development. Low degree of opening to theoutside world, weaker international competitiveness, lack of effective connectionbetween different industries, technology innovation ability is not strong, andother problems exist. Although the IOT industry chain becomes a hot topic in theenterprise, university and research institutions, most of the research is on theconcepts and applications, lacking its evolution. So there isn’t enough theoreticalsupport when the nation formulates related policy and the enterprise makesinvestment decision.Therefore, the subject of this paper starts from the viewpoint of system, onthe basis of summing the IOT industry chain’s development and relatedtheoretical research, IOT industry chain can be seen as an open economic systemcomposed of each industry on the chain. By using the self-organization theory,combining with the IOT industry’s characteristics, to study its evolution. First,defined the connotation of IOT industry chain, analyzed the characteristics andthe evolution conditions of self-organization of it. Secondly, using synergetictheory studied the evolutionary dynamics of IOT industry chain, analyzed thedriving force factors of self-organization evolvement. From two aspects,horizontal and vertical analyzed the synergy and competition. Through theestablishment of co-evolution dynamic equation, draw an order parameter thatinfluences and leads the whole IOT industry chain’s development. Then frominside and outside analyzed the form and implementation approach of the self- organization evolution of IOT industry chain, combined with catastrophe theoryto build evolutionary path of the order parameter, and studied the IOT industrychain’s life cycle. At Last, by taking an example of Zhong Guancun IOT industrychain, analyzed the present status of it. According to the existing problems, itprovides guidance and advice for the development of Zhong Guancun IOTindustry chain. It offers a theoretical basis for the integration of industrial chain.It’s of great significance for IOT enterprises and government to push forward theIOT industry chain’s development sustainably.
