Our economic system faces intensive competitive challenges because of the technological progress and economic globalization. The research of industry also faces adjustments under the changes of the construction industry system in the current industry analysis environment. The limitations of the traditional industrial economy theory are gradually revealed in the study of the construction industry economy. A new angle of view is needed to be studied deeply on the construction industry economy theory.In this thesis, the construction industry is regarded as a complex system and the internal mechanism of the construction industrial system's evolutionary and development is studied dynamically by using the self-organization theory and method from the view of the evolution. Several aspects are applied researched such as the dissipative structure character, basic driving force, ways of realization and evolutionary internal and external manifestations of the construction industry system's self-organization evolution and development comprehensively using the multidisciplinary knowledge such as the evolutionary game theory and the gray system theory, combining the industry characteristics and practical problems of construction industry, using the ways of the quantitative and qualitative analysis and analogue and transplantation methods. The specific contents are as follows:(1) The evolution development of the construction industry is defined and the self-organization mechanism of the construction industry is analyzed from the view of the system. It thinks that the evolution development of the construction industry is complex action with self-organization and organized.(2) Self-organization theory framework is given. The feasibility of self-organization using in the construction industry is studied. The criterion of dissipative condition of the construction industry and"entropy"are analyzed. Using Brusselator, the instability condition and mechanism of the construction industry is analyzed.(3) The synergetic evolution model is established by synergy and gray system modeling method synthetically and synergetic order parameter of the construction industry system is drawn. The order parameter of the synergy of the construction industry should be information and specialization.(4) The internal and external manifestation of the construction industry system's evolutionary development and the chaotic theory of the realistic way of Self-organization of the construction industry system are analyzed. The order parameter potential function is set up. The evolution way of the construction industry system is explained.(5) The realized conditions of the construction industry supply chain synergy are put forward through the analysis of the construction industry vertical supply chain synergy using the method of evolutionary game (taking the construction suppliers and the general contractors for example). With the horizontal coordination problems in the construction market put forward, the synergetic mechanisms among the government, industry associations, market players and the rules of the market in the construction market are analyzed. The existed technology-economic system coordinated model is improved and the synergetic degree model of construction industry system itself is set up. The conclusion is drawn that the economic benefit indicators and technology indicators of Chinese construction industry system synergy low and the two must be synergized through the analysis of the synergetic degree of the economic benefit indicators and technology indicators of the construction industry system.(6) The phase space reconstruction ideology is used to construct the time series attractor of the construction industry added value, and the attractor dimension is calculated. The optimum Lyapunov indicators of the construction industry time series are estimated. It has been proved that our construction industry added value time series is in a chaotic state by the determining the construction industry time series'chaotic nature. Based on the chaotic determination, the chaotic prediction of the construction industry added value time series is made. By demonstration analysis, it is validated that the evolutionary process of our construction industry system follows Logistic equation curve.(7) The composite mechanism of the construction industry system's self-organization and out-organization evolutionary development is needed to set up combined with the problems in the construction industry system development from the angle of the construction industry system's self-organization evolutionary development. And the correspondent policy of the current construction industry development is put forward.It is fully new to make Self-Organizing theory be used in the analysis of the construction industry system evolutionary development. It is important theoretically and practically significant to analyze the root of the construction industry problems in China, to improve and perfect the industrial development and to make the government guide industry well. With the development and mature of the construction industry, the evolutionary study significance of the construction industry system on the view of self-organization theory system will become clearer.
