This paper systematically studies the concept of inland ports, function anddevelopment in theory. I analyzed and summarized different methods for distributionof inland ports, selected AHP and multivariate method of combining methods ofinland ports as building distribution of the model. The current progressivedevelopment of China’s inland port of Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian, Shanghai,Lianyungang, Pearl River Delta, the northern Gulf of four inland port group; With thedeepening reform of China’s foreign trade, the development of inland ports ushered innew opportunities, while the lack of overall planning across the country, the lack ofcoordination and management mechanism, the lack of an effective mechanism for thedistribution of benefits of the inland port’s long-term development has also broughtnew challenges. Studing on distribution of inland ports in China become necessary inthe country systematically. China’s inland port on the theoretical analysis of layoutand location, clear the principles of the three countries that should follow the principleof overall planning and coordination of regional development principles, economicprinciples, feasibility inland port layout and location throughout the process. it alsodetermine the factors that affect inland port layout and location of the population, respectively transportation conditions, policy, and economic development level. Usingquantitative and qualitative, and the time point index combining indicators of modelbuilding ideas, according to affect inland port location factors, I established the inlandport location model index system. In the empirical study of inland ports I estimated byHP filtering method for foreign trade volume of China’s provinces and autonomousregions, then identified nationwide integrated inland ports candidate decision methodbased on multiple factors for Beijing, Shaanxi, Hubei, Heilongjiang, Chongqing.Taking Beijing as an example, I further analyzed the comprehensive site furtherinland port in the provincial level and the current situation of the major candidates tothe inland port, and made reference to the recommendations on its futuredevelopment.
