As the increasing concern for the environment, in order to achieve lasting competitive in modern business, enterprises have to go in the green development path, and to achieve win-win economic and environmental benefits. Therefore, after the green competitiveness becoming an important component of competitiveness, attention and research on it is also increasing. It mainly includes two aspects:first, how to objectively evaluate the level of competitiveness of green business; second, how to cultivate and enhance green competitiveness of enterprises, in order to enhance their competitiveness in the future.For the rare earth enterprises, with own characteristic, research on green competitiveness especially becomes important and urgent. This paper focus on listed companies of China’s rare earth, the first part of literature review, tracing the source, presenting the relevant theory of competitiveness, green competitiveness state; then in status quo analysis part, introducing the current research of rare earth in domestic and in foreign, and summarizing the features and questions of domestic rare earth and companies. Then, learning the previous research scholars, this paper attempts to establish evaluation system and use quantitative way to measure the green competitiveness level of rare listed company, and put the index classify as research and management capacity, integrate resources and grow capacity, focus on environmental importance. And then, subdivide them into nine indicators, and use mathematical and statistical software to analyze, and achieve the green competition composite score on listed companies of China’s rare earth. Finally give suggestions to nurture and enhance the competitiveness on listed companies of China’s rare earth from these perspectives:government level, public community, industry development, rare earth companies and so on.
