Being aimed at the lack of scientific method and efficient system in-supplier selection, supplier quality management and supplier assessment of Chinese enterprises, to change their unfavorable position in global sourcing, this article is taking the supplier quality management of Borgwarner Turbo system as object of the research, and analyzing the successful experiences and scientific methods of supplier selection, assessment and quality management in BorgWarner.The article begins with the related theory of study on supplier quality management at home and abroad, and then analyzes the advantage and disadvantage in supplier selection and management of local enterprises, summarizes a relatively scientific theory of supplier quality management through the study on supplier management process in BorgWarner.Secondly the author elaborates the theory and methods of the selection of potential suppliers, advanced product quality planning, managing supplier quality and theirs performance assessment, analyzes the limitations and inadequacy of these enterprises in the above aspects.
