Study On The Management Pattern Of China Southern Power Grid Corp Technology Project

The Southern Electric Power Research Institute (SEPRI), China Southern Grid(CSG) is a platform providing innovative research service to the CSG. Theadministration and perform of the science and technology projects is one of itsimportant work. To establish the science and technology project administrationmechanism suitable for the SEPRI is the guarantee of the successful performance ofthe science and technology projects of the SEPRI and the important measure to realizethe supportive rule of the science and technology projects to the main business of theCSG including technological support and innovation, crew cultivation and resourcesoptimization.In view of this, the SEPRI started a research program named Mechanism of theScientific and Technology Project for SEPRI with the purpose of researching thescience and technology project administration along with the strategy and pattern ofSEPRI to improve the project administration to a level that could satisfy therequirement for a world-leading grid research organization or innovative companywith core technology and strong competitive power.This paper will present an index set and assessment method on the scientific andtechnology projects of SEPRI based on the basic theory of science and technologyproject administration, along with the strategy and specialty of SEPRI. Besides, thepaper will analyze the relationship between the science and technology project andstrategy in the SEPRI based on the administration pattern and work flow of theSEPRI.This paper will mainly discuss the science and technology project administrationmechanism based on the strategy of SEPRI. Its main feature is to introduce the indexof the science and technology projects innovation, crew cultivation and projectsdriving force. The purpose behind is to connect the projects closely with the strategy.Theses index will be used in the project set-up and assessment.The research method of the paper is deduction, which means to analyze anddeduct the mechanism of the science and technology project administration for SEPRIbased on the item attributes, standard of the current projects administration andsystem model. The mechanism is completely SEPRI based.
