Study On Support Capacity Of Land Resources In Henan Province Under The New Situation

Content：Henan Province is going through a critical period of building a central economic zone in thecoming period. With the promoting of the rapid comprehensively urbanization, agriculturalmodernization and industrialization, the province’s businesses demand on land resources will continueto increase, land-use supply and demand will become increasingly acute. To do this, Henan Provincemust propose a way of scientific coordinated development which is not at the expense of agriculture andfood, ecology and the environment.The study is one topic of research of "Central Plains Economic Zone territorial planning" which isbeing completed, aimed at scientific analyzing the situation of the supply and demand of land,coordinating the conflicts between agricultural land and various construction sites, between variousdepartments, achieving intensive land resources conservation, rational and efficient use, providingdecision support for the Central Plains economic Zone land planning.The main contents of the study include the following aspects:1, Under the background of large-scale development of the Central Plains Economic Zone, Henanis facing tremendous pressure of land resources protection in land protection, land for constructionspace and ecological protection.2, It predicted that the demand of Henan Province for land in2020and2030from the urbanindustrial land space, agricultural development and ecological protection space.3, The contradiction of various land use competing is obvious from the perspective of protection ofthe development, arable land and ecological security; The contradiction between urbanization,industrialization of the key development areas and the traditional food production area land is obviousfrom the perspective of space point; the intensity of the land supply and demand is different in differentstages of development from the perspective of the scheduling point; the contradiction among variousconstruction sites is obvious from the perspective of internal structure; the contradiction between urbanand rural land use is obvious from the perspective of urban-rural dual structure.4, the basic approach of improving the ability of land resources and support includes: co-ordinationto expand the space, saving intensive expansion of space, developing space with pressure and retention.5, the basic idea of the national spatial adjustment is: moderately reducing agriculturaldevelopment, modestly increasing ecological protection space, adjusting and optimizing the urban andrural construction space. The province’s land can be divided into four comprehensive functional areas:urban agglomeration core area, northern regions, the Huang-Huai and Nanyang Basin, south and west ofHenan Province, optimizing resource allocation between different regions in the optimal allocation ofresources.
