Qingdao Mobile Population Employment Research Based On Industrial Structure Promotion

Since the Reform and Opening, the industrial structure promotion has becomethe most important part in China economy development, meanwhile, the mobilepopulation is always a special group of the result of the China economy developinghistory. Qingdao city is one of the first group of coastal open cities in China, whobenefits from its geographical location, appeals to lots of investments from home&abroad and mobile population. As a result of more investments for the tertiary industryin1990’s, the group of mobile population in Qingdao city exploded, then this groupof population deeply affected the course of Qingdao economy developing history.This paper teases the course of economy developing history in Qingdao since1949, above which the research on mobile population employment statuses comesup, then get the conclusions as below:(1) The“tertiary, secondary, primary”industrial structure of Qingdao city has set up, but the employment structure does notsync with the former structure. The primary and secondary industry gets highproportions in the mobile population employment structure.(2) As a result of lowereducation attainments and the younger age below35, most mobile population locate inthe secondary and tertiary industry, which leads to the fact that the employmentstructure of mobile population is totally different from the Qingdao industrial structure.(3) The employment structure of mobile population also differs from the employmentstructure of total population in Qingdao city.(4) In the next5years, hugeemployment gaps will come up in the industry of the secondary and modern serviceindustry of the tertiary, but the supplies of the mobile population will not fulfil the demands. In the end, this paper tries to provide the solutions to the problemsemerging previously.
