With the achievments of ChangQing Oilfield to50million tons of oil equivalent goals,oilfield construction projects are in the prosperous peirod of development,the project in thenumber,size increased significantly up on the same time, the number of contracts and theunderlying amount is also growing rapidly. Currently, according to the Oil Production Plantof ChangQing Oilfield exploration blocks into several capacity building project teamresponsible for specific projects, while projects in the company organs in accordance withspecific categoires of oiffces in charge of co-ordinating the overall oilfield projects, signing ofthe contract,to fulfill and termination of the Oilifeld Company Oiffce of Legal Affairs underthe centralized management, the project team is responsible for reporting, the competentauthoirties in charge of the review. Overall, has established a relatively complete projectcontract management system, but not mature,perfect, facing the project contract irsks areincreasing. Therefore, to achieve oilifeld development process smoother, faster and eiffcientconstruction projects,it is necessary for effective control of contractual irsk, research onContract Risk Management is imperative.This paper charts, comparative analysis and other research methods,starting with the oilplant engineering project management contract for the development of irsk managementtheory and contract characteirsitcs,classification,elaborates project construction and theformation of a contractual relationship,as well as the important role of irsk managementcontracts? Secondly,by the time the contract stage of project irsks were descirbed andstudied,analyzed piror to the signing of the contract,signed in pefrormance, amendment,termination,respectively, which is facing the irsk when litfing a clear contract managementand project contract defect irsk to the occurrence causality. Third, the analysis of project irskmanagement contract problems,revealing the irsk to occur. Fourth, the proposed oil refineryconstruction project research on Contract Risk Management should adopt scientificmanagement,the whole process of supervision,and substantial control of the general idea.Finally, a summary irsk control engineeirng contracts for oil extraction plant engineeringproject management contract to strengthen irsk management recommendations.Through this research project, it will help enhance the oil production plant project contract awareness, improve project management contract risk analysis, prevention and control capabilities, strengthening project management awareness, improve project quality, reduce project risk occurrence probability of the contract, ensure that the project objectives, reliable, efficient and optimal implementation.
