The Motivation Mechanism Of SME’s Junior Staff In Western Less-developed Areas Of China

The motivation mechanism is very important for SMEs in western undeveloped areas.This paper study the theory of incentive mechanism and analysis the current situation of the junior employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Western underdeveloped areas. Through the questionnaire investigation and statistics, extract the most effective incentive factors. Then optimize the motivation mechanism based on the factors, and put forward the corresponding auxiliary measure. The main conclusions are listed as follows:First, analysis of the current situation of motivating junior staff in SMES in western less developed areas. The current problems are:the motivation measures are unitary and random; performance evaluation mechanism is not perfect, lack of company culture, lack of mental and emotional motivation.Second, the empirical analysis, analyses the motivational factors with the aid of spss19.0software, using the factor analytic method, finds out the most effective motivational factors. They are salary and welfare factor (16.78%); working and development factor (15.38%),working groups and atmosphere factor(12.9%),institution and environmental factors(12.8%), company prospects factor(12.5%).Third, optimize the motivational mechanism based on the conclusion of empirical analysis. There are five aspects:the salary and welfare mechanism, work and development mechanism, working groups and working atmosphere mechanism, institution and environment mechanism; company prospects mechanism. Then put forward two internal supporting measures:Improve the performance appraisal system, set up employee incentive satisfaction survey system and two external supporting measures:special financial support and improving the service system for SMEs in western areas.
