In the modern enterprises, human resource has been the most important factor for their development. Whether enterprises build up and implement the incentive policy, active the human resource, and maximize the margin efforts of employee successfully has been the key factor to achieve the continuable development and win in the competition. But the facts in front of us are: the key staffs are very unstable in many enterprises; they are on job-hopping frequently; the employee's team is lax; the efficiency of enterprises is very low; the creative capability is becoming weaker and weaker, even threat the survival of enterprises. In China, all successful enterprises have their own keys to success, but almost every unsuccessful enterprise was defeated by a same reason. That is, they don't have a good stimulation system, which is represented by unsuccessful distribution and unsuccessful employ. So how to stimulate the staff is a basic task of the management work.On the basis of the current situation and character of small and medium-sized enterprises, combined M company, this thesis has been a system research to the incentive mechanism of staff by using documents, illustrations and charts.This thesis discusses the motivation system of this kind of enterprises from four parts. Chapter 1 introduces the background and significance of the selected topic, discussed the importance of staff motivation in small and medium-sized enterprises. And it introduces the main classics motivation theories home and abroad. Chapter 2 the thesis attempts to analyze the problems affecting the incentive effects from internal and external factors and points out that it should be given full consideration to the staff's ages and psychological feelings and the business environment when setting up a business incentive mechanism. Points out the problems of staff motivation that exist in the current small and medium-sized enterprises of China, such as between the business owner and the staff lacks the equal and democracy relations. The salary composition structure is unreasonable. Individual goal and the business goal are not clear, the two goals lack the effective conformity, and the incentive mechanism is full of individual idea. In the third part, combined the facts of M company, the thesis discusses the stimulation construction process and approach from three aspects: people-centered stimulation, material stimulation and knowledge capital stimulation,on the basis of the analysis of the stimulation problems exist in the small and medium-sized enterprises. In the last Part, the thesis indicates that it is necessary and urgent for small and medium-sized enterprises to construct incentive mechanism and should be helpful to improve the human resources management work and to promote the achievements of enterprise.
