The main purpose of the traceability system is to record and store the relevant informationduring the supply process. When problems of the product quality are detected, the system canquickly and effectively track the specific link where problems exist, implement targeted remedialmeasures, and recall the products when necessary. In this way, the quality safety of products andthe consumers’ knowing rights are guaranteed. This paper has conducted a thorough research onthe core technical problems of agricultural products traceability system, and the main contentsare listed as follows:1. Through reviewing relevant literatures, investigation and researches have been conductedon the development situation of domestic and international traceability systems. Besides, thispaper analyzes and summarizes the problems existing in the current agricultural productstraceability system of our country and establishes the main goal of this research.2. Researches on the related technology of the system have also been conducted: firstly, thedatabase distributed storage strategy are analyzed so as to improve the system’s query speed byusing distribution method which based on overall nodes; then, the study of the QR code has beenattached great importance and the structural characteristics of QR code are thus clarified;furthermore, a brief analysis of the working principles and processes of Web Service has beenoffered with an view of improving the system efficiency and versatility through using openstandard protocols for description, transmission and exchange.3. Based on the distortion of QR code image in the practical application, this paper managesto solve the barrel distortion and pincushion distortion through adopting the improved cylindricalcorrection algorithm. As to the perspective distortion, the Hough transform method which ismore mature and reliable is applied to correct it. Transplanting it to the client after passing thetest on the computer will greatly improve the efficiency of development. 4. An overall solution program of the agricultural products traceability system is proposedbased on the consideration in aspects like the function and performance indicators, moduledivision, work flow and design ideas of the system. Besides, the design and implementation ofthe whole platform are realized through the complete requirement analysis and detailed design.5. Through the systematic test and trial operation, the system operates steadily with eachperformance index meeting the expected goals and all functions of the system satisfying theapplication demand. To apply this system in the agricultural production can realize theinformation management of agricultural production and circulation process and improve thequality of agricultural products.
