With the development of economy and the improvement of living standards, dairy products become increasingly indispensable food in daily life. However, according to the world average, domestic consumption of dairy products is still low, which has a great growth space. While, in recent years, there are, for example,"leather milk","milk scandal", occurring again and again. It causes consumers to have little confidence in domestic dairy products, and also exposes the lack of domestic safety supervision of dairy products, which is restricting the development of domestic dairy.There has come out many supervision policies and regulations of dairy food. Establishing traceability system is also one solution, which can make sure of safety of dairy products from the source. Traceability system of dairy products is considered to be the most effective measure to solve the problem. With the quick development of the Internet of things, the RFID technology and the2d are applied widely in food area. However, the2d code label is much cheaper and more generally.In this paper, first of all, analyzing related research of traceability system at home and abroad. Secondly, from the perspective of the industry chain, analyzing dairy products’ characteristics, and according to business processes of dairy production, identifying the key points of dairy products chain. Thirdly, using Chinese-Sensible code, which is developed independently by our own country, to be the information carrier of dairy products, putting forward the traceability information collection and identification scheme in the key points of the whole industry chain. And based on the principles and design ideas, putting forward network architecture design, function design, database design, and tracing code design of the traceability system of dairy products. Finally, summarizing the shortcomings of this article, and proposing the future research direction.
