Since "the Sanlu milk incident" occurred, people have paid more attention to milk product safety.So building the milk traceability system has been an effective way of supervising and controlling milk product quality. However, the existing research on milk or milk product traceability system mainly focus attention on the necessity of the system construction, in order to promote institutional regulatory or the development and realization of the internal data management information system and other aspects. But there is a lack of systematic classification of the information that milk production chain need to collect. No one specifies what kind of bar code technology should be used and how to use identifacation code technology on the identification of the classified information. This results that information collection methods are not standardized, the range is not uniform, and the key information can not display, making it difficult for the traceability system to play the true meaning.Based on the inductive analysis of the coding standards of the GS1identification system, data acquisition technology, milk traceability system construction, the paper mainly carries out two research work:Firstly, the paper pointed out the necessity of the standardization of the information identification in the milk traceability system construction; and then the main information collected in the system is classified in accordance with three information dimensions:location item, environment item and product quality items. According to four standards:the relation to product quality, corporate operating cost, technical feasibility, market demand, the paper puts forward the method of different kinds of information identification:we make use of GS1-128bar code technology to identify the location items and use two-dimensional DM bar code technology to print product quality items on the retail packaging unit. RFID tags are used to record environmental items, Individual cows and the temperature in the production and transportation process which have a direct impact on quality and safety of the milk. And then the paper carefully study specific implementation of internal traceability process.Secondly, With3G smart phone is becoming more popular and network access charge continues to drift, the paper firstly studies the application of two-dimensional bar code technology in milk traceability system market, from market demand, technical feasibility, economic feasibility and other angles. By the comparative study of the3G smart phone user traffic data and the proportion of two-dimensional bar code technology used in the value-added services at the same time period, we found there is a positive correlation between3G user number, network traffic growth and the development of two-dimensional code business, with many2G mobile phone users integrated into3G group, the demand of two-dimensional code application will continue to rise. Compared with RFID chips, two-dimensional code tag has a lower offered price; by contrast to one-dimensional code tag, two-dimensional code tag has a larger storage capacity, the stronger capability of error correction, anti-pollution and a variety of mobile value-added services. Successful use of two-dimensional code in milk traceability system could implement security-traceability function and online shopping navigation; this will promote the sales of dairy products to a certain extent.The construction of milk traceability system includes the establishment of internal traceability process and the building of milk traceability data management platform. Finally, we discuss structural design and implementation of the central traceability data management platform.
