With more and more fierce competition in each industry, company pursues the high performance and the high performance culture is built up with all employees’joint efforts. Company with high performance can create more value for customers and satisfy customers who ensures company to keep the business, and highly performed employees can ensure the quality and service of the products. Employee satisfaction improvement facilitates improvement of employees’motivation, engagement and work quality etc. Competition of company is the competition of talents so many high level managers are spending more and more time on taking care of "People" except focus on market, customer and product. Talent retention and utilization is becoming very important management subject to study. Employee satisfaction improvement plays a positive role in talents retention and the cost of retaining talents is lower than recruiting talents. Talents stability can also ensure product quality and service, which helps to enhance customer satisfaction. Company can have knowledge of employees’feeling and feedback on management practice, communication, compensation, career development, work environment and training etc. through employee satisfaction survey and can even sense the possibility of employees’intention to resign. In most companies, employees do not tell their managers or management their real feedback and dissatisfaction but directly express dissatisfaction with submitting resignation. It is too late for company to retain the employee when he or she decides to leave. Through employee satisfaction survey, company can know employee’s feedback and complaints in time and can diagnose many problems in management and take active corrective actions to improve it. In terms of the importance of employee satisfaction, it is very necessary for the thesis to have a deep study on this topic.Many domestic and foreign thesis also studied employee satisfaction and think it has close link with employee’s career development, expectation, leader’s style, communication, compensation etc. Linked with some basic employee satisfaction theories, this thesis takes the example of X Company’s employee satisfaction survey in some year to introduce the whole cycle of employee satisfaction survey and analyze the survey results with the detailed survey data. Through the deep dive of such employee satisfaction categories as management practices, management communication, pay and benefits, training and development, inclusive work environment, this thesis raised some practical suggestion and improvement actions and also discussed on how to ensure the implementation of the improvement actions. For other companies in the aviation maintenance industry, this thesis can provide the good reference for them to practice employee satisfaction survey and take practical improvement actions.
