More and more Chinese enterprises adopt virtual research and develop(r&d) organization form to complete customer service and product delivery. Virtual r&d team has been accepted and used widely in many enterprises at inland and abroad because of its uniqueness and novelty.IT company,represented by HP,has been deeped in business and technology development in China. There is a larger interest for HP virtual r&d organization form and daily operation form in Domestic IT companies. They expected to adopt the organizational form for enterprises to better create value for customers, so as to bring substantial profits for the enterprise.The team structure of virtual research and development seems to be "loose".Management way to make people feel not enough "strict" and project and the product development process is full of uncertainty. So how to based on the characteristics of virtual r&d team to improve the performance of virtual r&d team, is the enterprise managers need to understand and solve problems.HP virtual r&d teams have regarded as the research object in the thesis. Some related questions have been list in daily management, performance evaluation and performance improvement which on the base of the performance management theory and HP virtual r&d team operation status. The following research process have been list in the thesis.Firstly,according to analyze HP virtual r&d team performance influencing factors,the performance improvement index model has been summarized. Seondly,five weighting factors have been calculated by using the AHP tools, which affect the virtual r&d team performance.Thirdly,the five aspects have been further discussed in order to instruct that how to improve HP virtual r&d team performance.At last,the thesis list some related suggestions about how to promote team performance by use the five kinds of ability.
