FLOW Import Business Process Optimization Of Customs Affairs

With rapid development of electronic information technology and China customs deepening its reforms on import and export cargo supervision, China customs has launched a series of favorite measures, such as customs paperless declaration, duty electronic payment, intelligently exam the declaration document and data electronically, to greatly accelerate customs clearance speed and reduce logistics cost for the enterprise. Even so, the diversity of the goods, flexible policy and complexity of the customs import and export procedure brings negative impacts on favoring customs clearance. A smooth customs clearance is vital for an enterprise’s operation and development. Therefore, the management on customs related matters is attracting gradually attention by enterprises. This paper is based on perspective of process optimization and combined with the current enterprise’s situation of business adjustment to study the process optimization of importing customs procedures.The research background and significance for this paper are based on enterprise current situation and business adjustment plan, through the related theory introduction of process optimization and customs affairs management to provide corresponding theoretical basis for the customs process optimization program and implementation. The writing method for this paper is to put forwarding problems, analyzing problems and solving problems, first of all, an introduction of FLOW current import process and to find and analyze existing problems in the process for the business adjustment. Then, based on the needs of new business to redesign corporate organizational structure, and setting up a leading group for process optimization according to the process optimization program so that to solve the problem timely and preventing potential risks. Finally, to evaluate all the effects of import process optimization and based on the existing problems to find a solution to ensure the sustainable improvement.BPO project enables FLOW to eliminate potential risks of customs affairs management in all import process, improving customs clearance efficiency and reducing corporate logistic cost. I hope that the experiences concluded by FLOW process optimization of import customs affairs can offer other relevant companies some references.
