The Performance Appraisal System is essential to Human Resource Management; furthermore, it is a key to establish and improve a firm’s management scientifically and effectively. Running by this system leads a firm to develop and standardize own management system into a professional level. Such high quality managing service allows managers and supervisors to successfully monitor and evaluate the execution and development from every level of department and/or team to follow up the firm’s developing strategy and idea. Hence, success is based on how to improve and accomplish a firm scientifically and effectively. M Cooking Company runs by the Performance Appraisal System, and that includes a firm’s development plan, implementation of strategy, and management of objective theory. By doing so, the system allows employees to understand and hit the target; meanwhile, the evaluation from waitress, cooks, and to team leaders is created based on such management philosophy.In the paper, the analyzing of Performance Appraisal System in M Cooking Company is based on the results of assessments, achievements, personalities, team-works, outcomes, and improvements. These aspects can be conducted into three categories:measurement of appraisal, method of appraisal, content of appraisal.The research is based on the three following aspects:First, at the Measurement of Appraisal aspect, it leads the M Cooking Company to redesign and then develop own main content of performance appraisal, and that describes the importance and flexibilities to all employees that are on their working position, working location, team work.Second, at the Method of Appraisal aspect, according to the M Cooking Company’s management and service system, the way to evaluate the results and/or success is based on demonstrating employees’ achievements annually and yearly plus how the main projects are completed and valued in different period of time, and that is also considered as a part of assessment. Moreover, the consequence of appraisal in a management and service system shows not only its’ efficacy but also its’ improvement.Third, at the content of appraisal aspect, the M Cooking Company should be ran by a professional team and an accurate evaluation indicator. In this case, it allows the company to examine their projects and employees from three different levels:features, actions, and results. Moreover, an accurate evaluation indicator includes not just a comprehensive cooking and service group who has met the requirement of quality assessment, safety, and time; but also a standardization that includes professional skills, administration skills, and teamwork skills. Project management idea and skills can also be used into the company’s evaluation indicator.According to the usage of three aspects in the Performance Appraisal System, they can rely on one another and compete each other. Meanwhile, by using Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and360O Feedback into the calculation of Performance Appraisal System, such way can fully monitor and examine how employees carry services to tables. Meanwhile, by combining KPI and360O Feedback with the Hierarchy Model at a final stage of appraisal system, such method produces more reliable and truthful results. Therefore, the three major aspects in the Performance Appraisal System are critical; M Cooking Company needs to have accurate results from their employees in order to complete business goals; in the end, the company’s business strategies, goals, and teamwork, which are made by the results, are leading the company to be successful scientifically and effectively.
