And as the source of the supply chain, the quality of tobacco materials is closely linked delivery, the quality of cigarette, lead time, stock levels, customer satisfaction and so on, thus affecting the performance of the supply chain. So, it is an important way for tobacco industry enterprises to select tobacco material suppliers scientifically in the improvement of the quality of products and service, economic efficiency and cost reduction. At present, the quantity of tobacco material suppliers of China tobacco Henan industrial corporation has reached more than200. Faced with so many tobacco material suppliers, although China tobacco Henan industrial corporation has taken a series of measures and documented the corresponding procedure to select and manage tobacco material suppliers, there are still some questions which are unreasonable, unscientific or done enough through field investigation.Firstly, the paper proposes a supplier selection and evaluation index system including product capability, cooperative ability, production level, business environment and credibility on the basis of the features of tobacco material suppliers as well as the characteristics of actual situations of China tobacco Henan industrial corporation. Then, the paper establishes a model of supplier selection and evaluation based on the improved Grey relevant analysis. Finally, the thesis puts forward some suggestion according to shortcomings, which provides a workable method for tobacco industry enterprises to select proper cigarette auxiliary material suppliers objectively. |
