With the advent of economic,globalization and market competition intensifies, supply chain management and supplier management have gained more and more attention by scholars and companies.By the thought of supply chain management,the enterprises' decision-making foundation of production and management have extended to the whole supply chain.Suppliers' selection decision,as a basic decision-making of enterprise is also changed in essential.Supplier's quality not only influences manufacture enterprise's achievement,but also determines the successful operation of entire supply chain.How to choose supplier scientifically and efficiently, and make stout supply chain system,have become a key Point for the manufacture enterprise's decision-making day after day.But it hard to have overall and accurate understanding and assurance to the level and strength of the supplier,which in the course of cooperation between enterprise and suppliers,especially in choosing the supplier,therefore,it causes both sides' expectation become too high or passive. However,present existing appraisal method has its limitation,so it is the key for the enterprise to success that builds the choice models of the effective suppliers and chooses the suitable suppliers;all these have realistic meaning and should be solved urgently.At the beginning of the thesis discuss the research goal and the significance, status of research both at home and abroad,and summarize the related principle of supply chain management and supplier selecting.Then analyze the influencing factors in selecting suppliers and the basic methods of selecting suppliers,and the steps to select suppliers and the principle of selecting suppliers.Believing that enterprises should choose the suitable index and adopt suitable method to evaluate all the potential suppliers,and then select some of them according to the results of comparison and actuality so as to build a stable strategic alliance and to improve their competitiveness.This thesis has constructed the supplier choice and appraisal target system profited from the domestic and foreign theory and the method achievement of supplier choice and appraisal,and supplier selection was placed in the environment of supply chain management,Guided by the principle of systematic and exhaustive; laconic and scientific;flexible and operational;objective and comparable;scalability. The evaluation index system has provided a reference of the choice for enterprises and comprehensive evaluation of suppliers.There are a lot of decision-making methods for supplier selection,the thesis proposed the method based on entropy weight and grey relation analysis process after analyzed a wide range of traditional methods.The method can fully utilize the available information,quantitative evaluation of various indicators of alternative suppliers,to some extent,overcome the error because of subjective factors and there are both quantitative indicators and qualitative indicators,making the results of the Evaluation more objective.Finally,carrying on a real example analyses the selection of suppliers,through modeling and calculation,has determined the entropy weight of the indicators and the sequence of optional suppliers.Then can determine the partners. That also can be shown that the method has practical significance and strong operational.In addition,the thesis also believes while the enterprises selected suppliers should be based on the actual situation,and timely adjustment of the evaluation criteria and evaluation methods,making the decision-making suit to the environment,and better guides the development of enterprises.
