With the rapid development of science, technology and productivity, supply chain management draws more and more attention. In manufacturing supply chain, a core enterprise regards all enterprises in supply chain as a whole, so it makes decision from an overall perspective. Therefore, the quality of supply chain has been decided when core enterprises selected other suppliers in the supply chain. Hence, for improving the performance of supply chain management, it needs to build a supply chain and select the most suitable partners for it.Enterprises in the supply chain expected to schedule production and processing time centrally. So when it had a shorter lead time, the enterprise can use the rest of time to arrange other production, creating more profits. While for supply chain, it could respond to the market faster. However, the supplier had a higher cost when he could respond to market quickly, while he had a lower cost when he responded slowly. Therefore, we needed to weigh the cost and speed to market when selecting partners. In addition, it was possible to have production interruptions for suppliers when they met force majeure, with the changing of the economic, political, and natural environment, which would cause supply chain disruption. Hence, in order to prevent this situation, we also considered to select multiple vendors to supply an order at the same time. Based on those, we targeted a notebook computer supply chain and established a multi-objective optimization model about cost and lead time.In terms of algorithm, considering the dynamic programming algorithm cannot solve the multi-objective optimization problem, introduced a new algorithm which integrated PSO with local neighborhood search to solve this problem. PSO algorithm had high efficiency for global search and local neighborhood search had better search accuracy for local search. We designed two serial PSO algorithms for selecting suppliers, combining advantages of two method. Then experimental data showed that the serial PSO algorithm with swap neighborhood structure was more effective than the algorithm with three_swap neighborhood structure. Then we got supply chain configuration optimization solutions for two supply chains.In order to verify the reliability of the supply chain, we established the second model for disruption and compared changing profit in supply chain between one supplier and two suppliers. Then experimental data showed that supply chain had two suppliers had more reliability.Supply chain structure optimization model had balanced cost, lead time and reliability of suppliers, and cleared selection criteria of vendors. It also provided data information support for partners selection of supply chain with assembles to order production rule.
