In the21st century, with the development of computer and internet technology, as well as the coming information technology wave, software industry has become a very hot spot. Software development is a knowledge-intensive industry. It is a professional field with few frontier reference. It integrates close to user experience, has high degree of complexity on maintenance as well as high quality and quantity demands of developers. Therefore, proper training is of particularly importance. In the past10years, training on software development has also grown an important branch of software development technology. Nowadays, there are plenty of training institution and groups domestically and abroad. According to the differences on the target clients and training goals, we can divide them into two categories, one is educational institutions of Junior Software Engineer aiming at promoting university students’ employment, and the other is customized IT educational institutions aiming at improving skills of on-the-job personnel. Software companies cultivate talents and improve their competitive power with the training services offered by the two kinds of enterprises mentioned above, and pay much more attention to the training results through the process.The thesis, with the method of interviewing, makes a deep analysis on the training results of software developers and figures out eight influencing factors, which mainly are clarity of training needs analysis, design of training contents, training methods, arrangements of training schedule, training teaching resource, training environment, training evaluation and personal factors. Finally, combining with relevant theories, the thesis comes up with solutions and suggestions to improvement of training results on various aspects such as demanding analysis, training plan perfection, training project conduction and training result evaluation, aiming at offering a valuable reference and guidance on the training of software developers.
