Energy problem is a major issue affecting China’s economic and social development overall. Saving energy and improving energy efficiency has been becoming an extremely important and effective way to meet the energy challenges. Electricity was the main energy and its importance has become increasingly prominent in China’s industrialization and urbanization process. No doubt it is of great significance to improve the power efficiency of using energy will alleviate the current energy shortage. This paper mainly studies the related content about power efficiency of the whole society. First, this paper proposed the new concept of power efficiency based on summarizing the concept of different energy efficiency. Second, this paper analyzed the influence factors of power efficiency and the corresponding influence mechanism. Then, the related theory of system dynamics model and multivariate regression model are introduced, including the basic concept of system dynamics model, problem-solving steps with system dynamics model, the brief introduction of Vensim-PLE and basic theory of multivariate regression model. In chapter four, a model aiming at enhancing power efficiency was constructed based on the system dynamics, then combining with the actual data of AnHui Province from 2000 to 2012 to determine some parameters in the model, and the model is suitable to be used for analyzing after a fit test of model structure and operation. At last, adjust the historical data which need to be input into the model will bring about the new outcomes, compare the old and new outcomes can we find out that which policy is useful to enhance the power efficiency, and make related policy recommendations.
