Tourism Endowment Destination Site Selection Research

With the deepening degree of the aging society, the transformation of family structure, more and more old people need other ways of endowment to meet their demands. Old people are no longer satisfied with single kind of living style. They want to reflect their own value by travelling and other activities. While the increasing of household income, medical and health level, traffic conditions and the change of elderly ideas, has provided the safeguard for the elderly leisure and endowment activities. As physical function limitation, the old man cannot choose the young and middle-aged groups similar ways of leisure. The physiological and psychological characteristics, consumption habits and travel behavior characteristics, determine the special way of leisure in the elderly.In this paper, with the tourism endowment as the research object, taking the tourism sociology as the theoretical foundation. Studying the elderly population demographic characteristics, consumption habits, travel behavior characteristics through the questionnaire survey. Statistical analyzing the tourism endowment demand of the elderly. Compare the endowment models between the domestic and foreign. Putting forward the tourism endowment destination development mode based on site selection. Establish the index system of tourism endowment destination suitability evaluation by GIS. Taking the small town of Jinhua city as an example, the tourism endowment destination in Jinhua city has been researched, and divided it into suitable area, sub appropriate area, sub unsuitable area and unsuitable area, and field research on two places in suitable area and sub suitable area. Reverse proving the rationality and operability of the evaluation system. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Compared with the number of tourism endowment mode and its destination development typical case, argues that the existing model can not fully meet the growing number of the elderly pension demand. Mainly displays in:the endowment to ecological environment, living environment, traffic environment, and medical environment cannot be coordinated; because of the incomplete endowment mode, the region limited for endowment development, the low elderly consumption, the elderly can not be in accordance with their own preferences to select the endowment destination really appropriate and satisfactory. This makes the tourism endowment destination in the development process has the certain difficulty.(2) The contradictions existing in the development of endowment destination mainly in the pension soaring demand for elderly people and difficult to choose retirement destinations. Physiological and psychological characteristics of elderly population, quality affordable consumption habits, slow travel characteristics, determines the endowment environment, infrastructure, medical facilities, area consumption level, transportation and other conditions must be met the old man’s endowment habit.(3) Based on the tourism endowment destination in site selection problem, construct the index system on the destination suitability evaluation, which proposed to the new endowment model living in tourism endowment destination selection.(4) An empirical analysis in the small town of Jinhua city. The collection of statistical yearbook data and remote sensing data of Jinhua, using GIS to get tourism endowment destination suitability evaluation map in Jinhua city. It will be divided into four levels, namely the suitable area, sub suitable area, sub unsuitable area, and unsuitable area. Field researching on two places in suitable area and sub suitable area, proved the rationality of the endowment model.
