| China is the world’s most populous country, with population over than 1.3 billion. Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world, the population is about 237 million by the end of 2014. Although there are many differences between China and Indonesia(for example, social, political and economic systems, the natural environment, as well as their culture and tradition), there are also many similarities. Both are large developing countries, the arduous task of maintaining national food security, grain market system construction two countries not only for their own problems, but also on the world grain market is extremely important. If China and Indonesia make full and effective utilize their resources to solve the problem of food security is a major contribution to world food security. Many researchers in China and Indonesia, national food security, showed great interest.
