Research On Agglomeration Level And Influence Facotors Of Producer Services In Henan Province

Producer service industry has high-tech-driven and high knowledge-intensivenes, which can not only help to encourage production, create more job opportunities, but also contribute to regional economic restructure and adjustment. It is thus of great significance to carry out a research into the producer service industry in Henan province in particular to examine the role this industry has played for a healthy and sustainable provincial economy.The article analyses the aggregation of producer service of Henan from temporal-spatial sight in regional and industrial perspectives, using GPCA(Generalization Principal Components Analysis), Krugman specialization index, Spatial Gini coefficient, LQ(Location Quotient). It shows that:(1)From the regional perspective.①With the GPCA analysis, from the point of time, just Zhengzhou is increasing all the time, other cities doesn’t change much; from the spacepoint, it resembles the letter “L” graphically with the capital city Zhengzhou having the largest number of producer service industry practitioners. ②Analysis with Krugman specialization index, the specialization degree of producer services is not high, and it has a tendency to alienation. From the space dimension, except Puyang it changes little.(2) From the industrial perspective, on the temporal change, except wholesale and retail trade and the scientific research, technical service and geologic prospecting, the agglomeration level in the entire producer service industry roughly presents an inverted “V” in distribution, but it is ring on the whole, and trade of knowledge and capital intensive have a high score. On the space change, within cities, the whole producer service industry together with its branches remains steady in terms of agglomeration level though there are some violent changes locally.Several index variables that have major impact on the development of Henan producer service industry are chose to determine the factors which might influence the industry. It shows that:For the whole producer services, economic development level and the capacity of government support have a positive correlation. Industrial development level and open level have a negative correlation, other variables are not remarkable. For the divisions of producer services. As for transportation, storage and postal service, just informational level has a negative correlation, other variates are not remarkable. For information transmission, computer services and software service, economic development level city size and knowledge stock have a negative correlation, industrial development level and open level have a negative correlation. For financial intermediation service open level and government influence have a negative correlation. For wholesale and retail trade service, industrial development level have a negative correlation, government influence have a positive correlation. For leasing and business services, just open level have a negative correlation, other variables are not remarkable. For scientific research, technical service and geologic prospecting service, economic development level has a positive correlation, Industrial development level have a negative correlation.
