The New Silk Road Economic Belt is a cross-border and inter-regional economic cooperation that has been put forward by the Chinese government. It implemented modern economic elements into the geographic framework of the old Silk Road, integrating the framework of the New Silk Road Economic Belt with the natural resources including oil gas, hydropower, economic crops and social resource like labor power of the countries it passed through. The new Silk Road Economic Belt, along with other international organizations that China has joined like Shanghai Economic Cooperation and APEC makes it possible for China to further carry out in-depth International cooperation and to open wider to the outside world.This paper has chosen the Central Asia as the subject, researching on the potential methods to expand cooperation with these countries using the resources each of these countries has and made analysis and forecast on the future of the economic cooperation between China and the Central Asia countries. The five Central Asian countries are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. These countries have different characteristics and strengths as for the economic structure. This paper focuses on the weaknesses of China’s economic structure, exploring the ways to carry out economic cooperation with these countries in certain fields and build up a new pattern in which all the parties can benefit from integrated resources and complementary advantages. The built-up of the New Silk Road Economic Belt is of great significance of China and will play a crucial role in the economic transition and upgrades.
