Study On The Performance Evaluation Of China’s Listed Commercial Banks Based On Corporate Social Responsibility

Compared with foreign commercial banks, the commercial banks of our country in the performance of the corporate social responsibility started relatively late, the gap is larger, and there is a large space for improvement.When coping with financial crisis,the operating results of our commercial banks,on the whole, is satisfactory.But a lot of problems what commercial banks of our country can not be ignored. For example,they take scale seriously and ignore quality, so that created a big but not strong banking system, and at a inferior position in international competition.In addition,weak concept and consciousness,unsatisfactory labor protection,insufficient charity support,which will influence the sustainable development of commercial banks.As the main part of financial system,operating efficiency of commercial banks directly restrict the development of national economy.In this paper,taking commercial banks of our country as research object,the writer decides to choose the stakeholder theory as the theoretical foundation through making compare with different theories and methods of performance evaluation and analyzing the particularity of the commercial banks. And on this basis, build a set of commercial banks social responsibility evaluation index system, using factor analysis and the method of either this or that analyze the performance evaluation of business banks.The data of 12 commercial banks listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange(because of data collection, had to remove 4 listed on from a total of 16) from 2011-2013 have been selected as the samples.firstly,from shareholders, customers,employees, government, community and resources environment analyze social responsibility performance each year. Secondly,The study indicates that commercial banks of our country in performance of social responsibilities is more optimistic,and the consciousness,especially about environmental protection,is more and more intense.In the past two years, state-owned commercial banks has been play a guiding role,however,shareholding commercial banks are gradually catch up with state-owned commercial banks, and even exceed them, such as Industrial Bank and China Merchants Bank. In the last, according to the reality of our commercial bank,some suggestions have been put forward to improve the performance of social responsibility.Innovation of this paper,on the one hand, is that the index system connections between financial indicators and non-financial indicators, pay more attention to the comprehensiveness and maneuverability.On the other hand,through combine factor analysis evaluation model with the method of either this or that, the evaluation results is more comprehensive and reasonable.
