Spiritual leadership focuses on taking care of their employees from the spiritual level. Leaders and employees build a vision together for the future development of their organization, so that the members of the organization can feel the calling from the vision they build. They can feel the meaning of life through work, and actively devote themselves to achieving organization goals. Ultimately it can make the organization stand out from the fierce competition to obtain long-term development.This study investigates how spiritual leadership effects the employees’ task performance and its internal mechanism under the background of Chinese enterprises. By adopting the method of cross-level analysis and the tracking study, the author analyze the influence of spiritual leadership on the employees’ task performance on individual level and analyze the parallel multiple meditating effect of leader-members exchange, organization-based self esteem and supervisory commitment between spiritual leadership and task performance. Then, the author adopt the method of structure equation model to explore the meditating mechanism of service climate between spiritual leadership and employees’ task performance. Finally, the author analyze the cross level mediating effect of service climate between spiritual leadership and employees’ task performance and the stability of the mediating mechanism of leader-members exchange, organization-based self esteem and supervisory commitment between spiritual leadership and task performance in a multi-wave longitudinal study. The results showed that:(1)Spiritual leadership could positive predict employees’ task performance, supervisory commitment, organization-based self esteem and leader-members exchange played a parallel multiple mediation between spiritual leadership and task performance.(2)In the study of mechanism on spiritual leadership and employees’ task performance,at the group level service climate played partial mediate role in the process of spiritual leadership influence task performance, at the individual level service climate played fully mediates mediate role in the process of spiritual leadership influence task performance.(3) In the study of effective mechanism of spiritual leadership, the cross level mediating effect of service climate existed in the process of spiritual leadership influencing task performance and the causal relationship spiritual leadership influence task performance was effective in the longitudinal study, the mediating mechanism of leader-members exchange and organization-based self esteem between spiritual leadership and task performance was stability.
