Research On The Development Of Tea Industry In Ethnic Minority Areas From The Perspective Of Ecological Civilization

The industrial society in the past has brought unprecedented productivity to an unprecedented height,bringing tremendous material wealth to mankind.However,it has also caused serious damage to the ecological environment where people live,and ultimately affected the sustainable development of human society.Therefore,human beings began to reflect deeply on the way of economic development and gradually formed the concept of sustainable development of ecological civilization.At present,human society has entered a new era of ecological civilization construction.Especially for China,the construction of ecological civilization has risen to the national strategy,and the provinces have firmly established the concept of sustainable development in the process of economic development.As a large minority province with rich resources but poor economy,Guizhou also firmly adheres to the two bottom lines of development and ecology,implements the macro-ecological strategy,and focuses on building tea industry as a green and rich industry to keep green water and green mountains and realize people’s poverty alleviation.In this context,Maojian Town of Qiannan Prefecture,as the core producing area of Duyun Maojian Tea,is a microcosm of Duyun Maojian Tea brand and even representative of Guizhou Tea.Now,with the government’s attention and the advocacy of ecological civilization construction,it has met with great opportunities for development and achieved certain results.However,due to various reasons and constraints,many unsustainable problems have arisen in the process of development,and it is difficult to become the undertaker of local industry revitalization and leading the development of Guizhou tea,which is insufficient to support ecological priority and green development in ethnic areas.Therefore,it is particularly important for the development of tea industry and economy and society in minority areas to understand the crux of Maojian Town’s tea industry development,analyze its problems and put forward their own thinking and development ideas based on the current development situation of tea industry in Guizhou and successful experience at home and abroad.Therefore,this paper is based on the field investigation and research about this.From the perspective of ecological civilization,this paper tries to analyze the current situation and problems of tea industry in Maojian Town by using the theories of agricultural industrialization,sustainable development and related disciplines.Finally,combined with the current situation of Guizhou and the experience of the development of tea industry at home and abroad,the author puts forward his own thoughts on the development of tea industry and economy and society in minority areas.The main contents of this paper include the following parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly introduces the background,significance and current research situation of this paper.It also explains several key concepts and theories mentioned in this paper,and explains the relationship between ecological civilization and tea industry.Finally,it explains the research methods and ideas.The second part gives a general overview of Maojian’s social economy and the development of tea industry.Firstly,it introduces the local geographical location,tea industry ecology,ethnic composition and livelihood.Then,it makes a correlation analysis of the advantages of local tea industry development from four aspects: local ecological environment,Folk Tea customs,tea brand culture and government support.The third part is the key part of this paper.It mainly analyses the development status,bottlenecks and reasons of Maojian tea industry.From the perspective of ecological civilization,the development of tea industry in Maojian Town mainly exists in the following problems: insufficient utilization of resources,inconsistent production standards,lack of distinct product characteristics,weak ability of enterprises to withstand risks,and weak ecological awareness,extensive development,inadequate excavation and utilization of national culture and small-scale strength of tea enterprises.Weakness is the main cause of these problems.The fourth part,based on the case analysis of Maojian Town’s tea industry development in the past few parts,combined with the actual situation of Guizhou and the successful experience at home and abroad,puts forward some thoughts on the development of tea industry in minority areas: first,the impact of tea industry on the ecological environment of minority areas;second,the interactive development of tea industry and national culture;third,the interactive relationship between tea industry and the economic development of minority areas.Then,several key bottlenecks that should be broken through in the process of developing tea industry in minority areas are put forward: first,highlighting product characteristics;second,improving economic efficiency of tea industry;third,realizing multi-dimensional coordinated development.After that,some suggestions on the development path of tea industry in minority areas were put forward.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper: in the process of developing tea industry,ethnic minority areas need to integrate resources according to local conditions to give full play to their resource advantages;the key is to realize the transformation from tradition to modern tea industry;culture and ecology are the remarkable labels of tea industry;and the tea industry in the perspective of ecological civilization should be transformed into a "benefit-oriented" development mode.Only in this way can we change the extensive industrial development model,highlight the brand characteristics,improve economic efficiency,narrow the gap with other famous tea development,and ultimately achieve industrial revitalization and sustainable development in ethnic areas.
