Research On The Financial Support For The Transition Of Shanxi Resource-depended Economy

Resource-depended economy is dependent on the rich resources such as coal, oiland the main way of the development is exploitation of resources of mining. Butresource-depended economy has serious problem of unfair distribution, deterioration oftrade terms, capital flight and unreasonable structure. At present, there are a lot ofresource-depended provinces in our country; these provinces have appeared a series ofeconomic problems. So the right attitude towards the transformation ofresources-depended economies is of great significance for the sustainable developmentof economy in our country. Finance can adjust the flow of funds, promote the optimizedallocation of resources and provide financial power for the transformation ofresource-depended economy. But financial institutions as the enterprise purpose on thebenefit maximization, it may cause market failure and hinder the transformation ofresource-depended economy. Then it needs the power of the government to guidefinancial institutions to promote the rational use of resources.Shanxi Province is a typical resource-depended province, mainly relying on thecoal resources. The resource-depended economy in Shanxi Province contributes toeconomic growth, but it also brings negative influence of irrational structure, lowsecondary energy, lack of economic vitality and so on. Shanxi finance developed rapidly,but lack the support to the transformation of resource-depended economy. How tosupport the transformation of resource-depended economy in finance is a daunting taskin Shanxi and can serve as a reference for the transformation of otherresource-depended provinces.This article is central on the relationship between the financial and resource-depended economy, and propose how to support the transformation about Shanxiresource-depended economy in finance. This paper is divided into the following severalparts: The first part is the brief summary about literature at home and abroad and theresearch methods and innovation of the article; the second part is mainly briefintroduction about the related theory of the transition of resource-depended economyand the support of finance and detail introduction about the financial support andscientific analysis of the mechanism between the resource-depended economytransformation and financial support; The third part analyses the current situation offinancial support for the Shanxi resource-depended economy Province, on the basis ofthe integrated use of relevant data in Shanxi; The fourth part collects data in1993to 2013and selects a few key indexes associated with the finance and resource-dependedeconomy in Shanxi. It studies the relationship between the financial support and theindustrial structure in practice, because the transformation of resource-dependedeconomy is mainly the adjustment of industrial structure. It uses Eviews7.2to prove therelationship between the financial and the industrial structure in the empirical and findsthat there is a steady relationship and demonstrates the financial support in Shanxiresource-depended economy industry plays an important role, but it is insufficient; Thefifth combining foreign experience and the predecessors puts forward relevant policysuggestions about the transition of resource-depended economy in Shanxi. We canoptimize the financial environment, change the traditional ideas, make the policies andmeasures better, strengthen supervision, broaden the microfinance, play the role ofcapital market and so on.
