| Mechanical safety is an important foundation for safe production, determines the sustainable development of a company and the safety of workers. The demand for mechanical safety is higher and higher with the rapid development of society, and mechanical safety research draws more and more attention. However, the root cause of mechanical insecurity, and essential factors which affects mechanical safety have not been analyzed deeply. Based on the background above, this paper analyzes a large amount of data, constructs a theoretical model of mechanical safety based on Six Sigma, and researches mechanical safety problems of E company in machinery development, manufacturing and maintenance in the respects of man, machine, environment and management.Firstly, this paper reviews the findings of mechanical safety, and defines mechanical safety, accidental release energy, mechanical intrinsic safety and Six Sigma, also introduces the theory foundation of mechanical safety.Secondly, it analyzes the root cause of mechanical safety problems of E company in the respects of man, machine, environment and management. And the root cause lies in that E company doesn’t adopt systematic and integrated methods in mechanical design phase, manufacturing phase and maintenance phase, doesn’t do a large amount of safety data analysis either.Thirdly, it constructs a theoretical model of mechanical safety based on Six Sigma. Based on defining, measure, analysis, improvement and control, this model seeks continuous improvement to reduce mechanical safety risks, aims to reach the safe6σ level. At last, this paper employs this theoretical model to solve current mechanical safety problems of E company, and evaluates improved level of risks and Six Sigma. The result shows that it reaches the goal of E company. |
