Nowadays, as the global fire situation turns more and more serious day by day, fi re retardant has become a global focus. In recent years, as fire prevention and safety st andards become stricter and the plastic production grows rapidly, the quantity and sale s of the fire retardant keep growing in the worldwide. In 2008, the sales of the global f ire retardant are $4.1 billion, $5billion in 2010, and reaching $6.1 billion in 2014. Fro m 2010 to 2014, the global fire retardant keeps increasing at a 5% annual growth rate.The total consumption of the fire retardant ranks only second to that of plasticizer am ong polymer additives. At present, the fire retardant has been widely applied to variou s fields such as electronics,aerospace,transportation, chemical building materials,daily furniture, indoor decoration, clothing, food, accommodation etc.Obviously, we can see the rapid globalization of market in the production and co nsumption of fire retardant, and the competition is not limited to one region but amon g global market participants. Therefore, how to survive and get long-term developmen t is based on effective strategy in the competitive market has become a very urgent an d realistic problem to the fire retardant company.Based on strategy management theory and related research literature, this paper t akes Zhejiang Wansheng Co.,Ltd as object of study and analyzes corporation competit ion strategy by PEST method, five competitive forces model and SWOT matrix analy sis etc. According to the real conditions of Zhejiang Wansheng Co., Ltd, this paper an alyzes problems confronted in the internationalization of business and provides corpor ation competition strategy and countermeasures for the company from different aspect s such as optimization of the marketing strategy, keeping stable technical requirement s,optimizing product structure, optimizing the internal management,which aims to off er reference for future development of Zhejiang Wansheng Co.,Ltd. Hence, this paper is possessed of important theory and application value.
