Based On The Global Value Chain Of Ji’an’s Industry Cluster Development Research

Under the trend of global economic integration, countries around the world are embedded themselves in global value chain(GVC) production network based on resource endowment and economic foundation, which has formed the developmental situation of coexistence of cooperation and competition as well as the unfair distribution of international performance. At the same time, with specialized production and collaboration network which brings resource acquisition, competition intensified and innovation incentive effect, industrial cluster greatly contributes to upgrade industrial development. Meanwhile the development model of industrial cluster is popularized among regions in our country.Based on the significance of the rise of the central region to regional economic coordinated development in our country, this paper chose Ji’an, a inland un-provincial capital city, as the research object. By constructing index of industrial concentration indicators, it finds out Ji’an’s six leading industries which are electronic information industry, medicine and chemistry industry, metallurgy and building materials industry,green food industry and machinery manufacturing industry based on the present stage.Based on both input and output data of more than eight hundred companies from 13Ji’an’s industrial park which our research team visited in 2014, this paper gives definition and supporting to the low governance situation in GVC of the leading industries in the Ji’an’s industry cluster from two aspects of both theoretical research and empirical analysis.Clear self-positioning and precise judgement of the environment are indispensable in the process of industrial development and upgrading. With the method of SWOT theory, Chapter 5 of this paper analyzed strengths, weaknesses,opportunities, threats of Ji’an’s industrial development on the present stage. Then from five aspects of organizational construction, brands of science and technology,capital equipment, public services and sustainable development, Chapter 6 gives some systemic countermeasures to the transformation of industrial development of inland un-provincial capital cities as Ji’an, in order to provide policy guidance toeconomic rise of central regions in China.Based on integration of theoretical and empirical analysis conclusions, this paper suggests that only the industrialized road with the basis of combination of both GVC parts processing system and enclosed NVC enterprise clusters may be much more realistic and effective for inland regions, or it is not optimal.
