In this paper, the hypothesis of human nature of moral man has been put forward. The hypothesis of human nature of moral man is rooted in Chinese traditional culture, entails the internal exerting point of motivation, illustrates th e connotation of humanity and is able to liberate management functions. Throu gh the highly summarization and generalization of the essence of Chinese man agement philosophy, this paper has found out moral humanity which runs throu gh Chinese management philosophy and is imbued in modern significance. Bas ed on the construction approaches of a management theory that management pr inciples should be abstracted from management philosophy and determine the managerial practices, following in the development trend and the intrinsic logic of humanity hypotheses, by combining the modern concepts of management, ethics, philosophy and sociology, this paper compares and analyzes the inherent principles of Chinese and western management, interprets the modernity of m oral humanity, and then puts forward the hypotheses of human nature of moral man.It is because moral humanity, roots in Chinese traditional culture and man agement philosophy, can provide a thinking paradigm that is essentially differe nt from but compliments its counterpart of western management thoughts that t o manifest the significance of moral humanity on management is of great valu e. This thinking paradigm gives birth to the unique qualities and character of Chinese indigenous management and contains the cultural genes stems from the humanity hypothesis determined by Chinese management philosophy. The ong oing researches on Chinese-style management are making their efforts to depict the qualities and character of Chinese management. However, humanity hypoth eses, the logical starting point, doesn’t cause much attention. The absence of humanity hypotheses with Chinese characteristics has made it unable for Chines e management theory system to transform the abstracted Chinese management philosophy into concrete managerial practices. Humanity hypotheses are just su bjective description and judgment of human nature. Therefore, it is not impossi ble that the descriptions of human nature which are influenced by culture and experience decisively are biased. What’s more, it is universally acknowledged by western management thoughts that human nature has multiple aspects and h umanity hypotheses with different views on human nature have mutually compl imented and combined in the course of the development of the recognition of human nature. Regarding this as the starting point, this paper aims at proposin g a human hypothesis which stems from Chinese management philosophy and i s rich in rationality and modernity.The basic principles of the hypothesis of human nature of moral man can be generalized as follows: Moral humanity has been the essence of Chinese management philosophy and the logical starting point of Chinese–style manage ment. Therefore, the hypothesis of human nature of moral man is the essential stipulation of Chinese-style management made by Chinese management philoso phy. The hypothesis of human nature of moral man offers Chinese managemen t the inner upbringing-based spiritual core. It holds that moral humanity is an essential attribute that influences motivations, endows individual with colony an d social meaning and helps individual to realize life values through work. It is the process of moral consciousness in which people learn from moral system,realize moral socialization, then behave morally and satisfy moral needs. This process is manifested as self-perfection and can improve interactive efficiency and synergy value. The morality—behavior mechanism is the psychological ded uction of the process and agrees with the philosophical ideas of “guiding peop le with morals” and “the unity of knowing and doing”. The hypothesis of human nature of moral man has refined the self-organization theory of motivati on, manifested the inner richness of human nature and surpassed the instrument al rationality of western management. It is the sublation of other human hypot heses. Moreover, it provides the ideal blueprint of Chinese management, deline ates the paradigmatic image of eminent leader, and induces the incentive formu la of managing people efficiently: Chinese-style management is essentially diffe rent from western management because it is featured as moral humanity and in ner upbringing.Concretely speaking, by hackling the inherent logic of the relationship bet ween Chinese management philosophy, Chinese managerial practices and moral humanity, in the light of management thoughts’ return to Chinese manageme nt philosophy, the moral appeals of markets and staff and the historical logic of the development of humanity hypotheses, this paper demonstrates the necessity and rationality of the hypothesis of human nature of moral man. By compar ing and analyzing the operating mechanism of morality and contract, this paper further manifests the Chinese characteristics and the managerial significance an d outlines the path of the combination of morality and contract which can cont ribute to the intercomplimentarity of Chinese and western management. In view of human nature, the hypothesis of human nature of moral man demonstrates the key role of morality in the efficiency of the interaction of an individual an d its environment and in the process of self-sublimation of life value. The mor ality—behavior mechanism manifests that morality is exceptionally advantaged i n the development of Chinese-style management and demonstrates the universal value of Chinese-style management based on basic principle of psychology. T he hypothesis of human nature of moral man clings to the perspective that wo rk carries life value with individuals and that it is decisive to the unification o f individual value and social value. This perspective epitomizes the core propos ition of a human hypothesis in the character and the source of work motivatio n. Furthermore, as the starting point,the hypothesis of human nature of moral man defines management with inner upbringing theory and determines the natur e of management essentially, enriches the spiritual connotation and principle of management, diversifies management functions and stretches out the due profil e of management.
