Grid infrastructure is an important social and economic development, security and stability of the grid for the social production and people’s normal life plays a vital role. Power transmission project as an important part of the grid, charged with a voltage converter and power redistribution of tasks, is the basis for a strong power system grid formation. Power transmission project to convert a grid node, the impact on security and stability of the entire grid is great, with a large-scale projects, investments, long project cycle, and high degree of technical complexity, and in the construction of power transmission project there are many unforeseen risks. In addition, as a public utility power grid enterprises nature of the enterprise, its power grid construction investment projects not only from the perspective of economic efficiency of enterprises consider the economy, but also to take into account their social benefits. Therefore, the power transmission project for technical feasibility studies to ensure that the economy is an important part of the smooth construction of the transmission and distribution of electric power for sustainable construction is of great significance, while other comprehensive evaluation for grid construction projects provide a reference.This paper analyzes the technical and economic feasibility study of two power transmission project. From the electrical part, the communication part, civil works, fire department and the environmental part of the study the technical feasibility of power transmission project; Based on the above analysis of the feasibility of the project investment is estimated that the expected economic benefits analysis to study the transmission project economic feasibility. Through various factors preliminary feasibility analysis of the project, to build power transmission project economic evaluation index system from the technical aspects of the technical feasibility and economic aspects, and use G1 weighting method and the gray model to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility ultimately verify the feasibility of the power transmission project.
