Nowadays along with the widespread of the Internet and the constant change of the way of the people’s life, Internet insurance shows a rising trend. At the same time, because of the cost gap between the network marketing and traditional marketing, it push a quick development of Internet insurance products. According to the latest data issued by the China insurance regulatory commission, in 2013 the national social insurance fund revenue was 3.7667 trillion yuan. Internet insurance as an emerging industry, its premium income reached 29.1 billion yuan, presenting its inherent advantages of the low cost and convenient service. At present although Internet insurance maintained a high speed development, the development of Internet insurance in our country is still in the primary exploration. There are many influence factors restricting its development. This paper analyzed the factors that constraints the development of Internet insurance, and seek the measures to figure it out. In order to can be helpful to the development of Internet insurance in China.Firstly the paper discusses the research background and significance of this topic at home and abroad, methods and content, Internet insurance concept, and so on. Secondly it discusses the origins of the Internet insurance in our country, present situation of the business development. Then discusses the restriction factors of Internet insurance in our country, respectively from different aspects analyzing to find out reasons that restrict the development of the Internet insurance. Finally on the basis of the above analysis, we put forward suggestions to perfect the development of Internet insurance in our country, at the same time make the outlook for future research.
