Research On The Adjustment Of Industrial Structure In Gansu Province From Energy Consumption Perspective

Based on the drive of their own resources and national and regional policy, Gradually, Gansu Province formed the industrial structure of "two high and one capital" as the characteristics while the economy developing, It has a strong dependence on resources especially on renewable resources, so as China’s economic development mode shift into one further step, since 1990 the implementation of " Circular Economy Promotion Law of The people’s Republic of China", Gansu Province, in the face of tremendous pressure on resources and the environment, economic development is also facing a major decision. And with the further transformation of the pattern of economic development in China, China’s economic development presents a new norm, which means paying more attention to the adjustment of economic structure optimization. So, the research on Gansu Province industrial structure adjustment from the angle of energy consumption problems, in order to better promote the economic growth of Gansu province, which has become a very important Subject.This article is based on the related theories of evolution of the industrial structure, through collating relevant research literature at home and abroad, combined with industrial structure and the characteristics of energy consumption at the background of economic growth in Gansu Province, from the three industry to internal manufacturing sub sectors,this article had done a deep study to the industrial structure and energy consumption in Gansu Province.First, using statistical analysis method described the characteristics of industrial structure and energy consumption in Gansu Province, as well as the relationship between economic growth; Secondly, using co-integration analysis, Granger causality test, variance decomposition and the impulse response function method, empirical studied the relationship between industrial structure,energy consumption and economic growth,and found that the industrial structure has a larger influence to energy consumption rather than economic growth; Again, start from the analysis of the energy consumption of the three industries, then analysis of the industry energy consumption, and finally identified that the key ministry of energy consumption is in the manufacturing interior, then did a detailed study on the energy consumption of various industries within the manufacturing industry department, and on this basis, using the least-squares regression analysis method, calculated the lowest energy consumption of 28 industry segments, the gap between the lowest value and the actual value represents the adjustment room of energy consumption, so planning out a path for industrial structure adjustment, also solved the problem of how to adjust the industrial structure on the perspective of energy consumer; Finally, the study gives some suggestions about industrial structure adjustment based on the conclusions of the study.
