The Study On Henan Province Taking Textile And Garment Industry Transfer

Since late 1990 s, the east of China started to develop labor-intensive industry, such as the textile and garment industry and the home appliance manufacturing industry, which transferred from developed countries. However, as China’s economy develops fast, especially the eastern part, the vantages disappeared. To pursuit the maximum profit, the companies have to transfer the current industry to the middle and west of China. As a result, the transfer appeared within China, from the eastern--the rich to the middle and western part--the poor. It is the common regular, however, which province can get the chance to develop the industry transferred from the east is important. Whether Henan can take the chance is the main point of this passage. In details, how can Henan solve the problems and develop it fast and healthily are necessary for the paper. It discusses the meaning of labor-intensive industry and industry transfer and undertaken.Part 3: The development status of China textile and clothes industry and its layout. It mainly introduce the development situation in China and how it was arranged in different province.Part 4: Thepossibilities’ analysis of comprehensive competitiveness of Henan Province. This part believe that the economy of Henan develops not quite well compared with the eastern part in China. Then this chapter compared Henan with other five province in the middle of China. Finally, it give a sum that Henan can develop labor-intensive industry(textile and clothes) via SWOT analysis.Part 5: The problems and solutions of textile and clothes industry development in Henan. It discusses the main problems which restrain the development of textile and clothes in Henan. Finally, it gives some solutions to solve the problems.Via the research, the gradient index of economy of Henan is pretty low among the 31 provinces in China. It is ranked 28.Compared with Hebei, Anhui, Hubei, Jiangxi and Shanxi, Henan has its own vantages in Economy, resources and so on. In details, the vantages of Henan are its geography, its recourses and its industry basis. The weaknesses are the low opening degree and the quality of the labor is not very good. On the one hand, Henan is in front of some opportunities such as the supported polices, the labor which came back from the east as a result of high level of consumption. On the other hand, Henan still has to solve some threats, such as the culture differences and the competition from other areas. Although Henan has acquired some achievement, it needs to overcome the difficulties. The companies should put the education, the development of corporate champions into the most important part. Consequently, the unemployment can be solved easily.
