The Research On The Impact Of Economic Growth Of Qinghai Province Urbanization

The modern city is an important basis and the best carrier for the national economy, furthermore urbanization is the prerequisite and basis for the growth of modern cities, the level of urbanization is considered as an important symbol in measuring the level of the economy of a country or a region. Therefore, urbanization has a profound impact on economic growth, the development of urbanization benefits the growing of economy, the better development of urbanization will optimize the industrial structure, expand domestic demand, which is conducive to economic growth.Since the start of the promulgation and implementation of the city(town) construction in 2008, Qinghai Province have already responded positively to the national call, and vigorously promoted the process of urbanization in Qinghai Province, and have created a certain scale. With the rising level of urbanization, the economy of Qinghai Province is substantial increasing, the proportion of the second and the third industries is continuing improving, province consumption and fixed investment have obviously increased. But due to Qinghai Province ’ s fragile ecological environment which located in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, it showed a small number of cities, low density, unreasonable structure of cities in the urbanization process. Due to the low urbanization level, not only the city will conduct to the unhealthy development but also hamper economic growth, so it should be steady progressive, steadily push forward the new urbanization process of the "ecological and environmental protection, harmony and stability, coordinated development between urban and rural areas. To promote the process of urbanization in Qinghai Province, we must base on the national conditions, draw lessons from the experience, to take the new urbanization road.Urbanization has become one of the most concerns in today’s China,the research based on existing theoretical and empirical, adopting econometric model for a simple regression analysis of Qinghai Province from 2002 to 2013 between urbanization level and economic growth, to quantify the Qinghai Province urbanization effect on economic growth. Research results show that: the urbanization level and the economic growth of Qinghai are highly related, the urbanization is the important power to stimulate economic growth. Qinghai Province, due to the fragile ecological environment, can make use of limited resources and other reasons, the city level showed a lower state. Therefore, we must grasp the revitalization of the opportunity of Qinghai Province and to improve the quality of urbanization, improve the urban system and the optimization of urban development soft environment in the process, promote the process of urbanization. Finally, put forward relevant policy suggestions for the further development of the city of Qinghai province.
