Mineral Resources Development Of Qinghai Province And Economic Growth Empirical Research

Recent years, the research of scholars think that most rich in natural resources of the country or region, than the scarcity of natural resources are national or regional economic growth more slowly, rich in natural resources not only can’t become the source economic growth, on the contrary, there may be a curse. This phenomenon is called the "resource curse" theory in academia. Qinghai province rich in natural resources, especially mineral resources. In order to comprehend the mineral resources development and economic growth of Qinghai province, this paper summarizes the development of mineral resources in Qinghai province, and compared with the relationship between mineral resources development and economic growth in ethnic areas, the result reflects that there is a close relationship between the two.In order to further confirm this paper puts to use the Eviews6.0 software to regressively analyze of Qinghai province in 1995-2013 time series data of the mineral resources development and economic growth, selection of mineral resources development mining industrial added value as examining index, economic growth in GDP absolute as examining index. The results show that the existence of long-term co-integration relations about mineral resources development and economic growth of Qinghai province, its short-term error correction model is affected by long-term co-integration relationship, in addition, the exploitation of mineral resources and economic growth are Granger reason in Qinghai province.In order to further find out the major factors that influence mineral resources development and economic growth in Qinghai, the main factors in this paper, the material capital investment, labor input, technology and education investment, system, market and industrial chain into the factor analysis, the results show that the effects on relationship between economic growth and exploitation of mineral resources in Qinghai province, the largest is the development of the industrial chain, other material assets input, labor input, technology and investment in education, system and market factors are the reverse effect.In addition, also from the environmental factors affecting the development of extractive industries in Qinghai province, probes into the influence of the ecological environment of mining.Finally, in order to realize the exploitation of mineral resources in Qinghai province and the optimization of the economic growth relations, make its economic growth on a sustainable development path. This article from the capital, labor, taxation system, market, industry chain and ecological protection gives the corresponding policy recommendations.
