A Study Of Construction Enterprises’ Procurement And Risk Management

Since the 21 st century, the trend of world globalization is more and more apparent, and the competition among enterprises in the globalization is becoming more and fiercer. Under the new economical environment, how to improve the competitiveness has become an important appointment for company’s survival and development.The traditional enterprise logistics mode has the direction to the supply chain network which is full of the characteristics of material flow system development, also the competition between the enterprises began to evolve into competition among supply chain.Material purchasing is the key point to the development of enterprise operation environment, and is also an important way for construction enterprises to reduce costs. Under the environment of supply chain, improving the procurement efficiency of enterprises has the vital role to reduce the cost of goods and materials enterprises and improve the competitiveness of the materials enterprise.This article pays attention to procurement mode and risk management in construction enterprise. First, we review the concept and theory of enterprise procurement, its development, risk management and supply chain management. Then we retrospect about the present situation of domestic and foreign construction enterprises procurement and the present situation of the risk analysis. In the fourth part, this article takes Company A as an example, introducing its construction project, analyzing the material procurement operation mode and the problems in purchasing and risk in the project. In the end, based on the above analysis of the supply chain management and procurement risk management, combining the current situation and problems in purchasing and material purchasing management, we give some suggestions for Company A to improve its purchasing and material purchasing management.This research has great theory contribution and practical contribution. Firstly, we analyze the purchase management based on the supply chain management theory. Secondly, we hope to use the TI technology to the management of construction enterprise, this can improve the effective of the purchase department. Finally, according the conclusion of the case analyses, we give some specific suggestion to improve the effective of the purchase department.
