Spin-off Independent Growth Ability Evolution Path Reshearch

With the development of state ownership modelling enterprise, will no doubt be derived some vital enterprises. The spin-off in the process of growth may be get the mother’s "care", also may face the matrix stripping and external market competition pressure. So how does the spinoff’s technology and market develop, what the evolution path, and what kind of characteristics between the two.Based on the technology and market perspective to study spinoff independent ability, four spin-offs, subordinate Dongfang Turbine Co. Ltd., were be chose as the research object for the case study. To analyze their technical and market ability in the process of development of path, it aims to comprehend the spin-off with the background of large state-owned enterprises in our country, technology and market competence development, and each stage of the relationship with resource dependence. This article first reviewed the literature about the technical ability, marketing ability, and spin-off theory. Second is given the main theoretical basis and analysis framework. Third, it is showing the design of the case study process. Furthermore, using the chart contrast method, discussion and conclusions: 1) depending on the difficulty resource, the development path of technology and marketing presents the asynchronous phenomenon;2) with the increase of the degree of independence, the relationship between technology and market is more and more closer, more tends to external resources available; 3) the coordinated development of technology and market is the end relationship of the spin-off independence. Finally, the paper puts forward the theoretical and practical significance, not enough, the future research direction.The theoretical significance of this study is that, based on the resource dependence theory, spin-off theory, coordination theory, technology and market evolution theory,discussed in the process of independent technical ability and the ability of market evolution path and the relationship. In practice, it is pointed out that the ability difference, the spin-off China’s large state-owned enterprises, value matrix resource utilization, and ignored the access to and use of external resources.
