Strengthening purchasing management is the key link for a corporation to lower cost, is the important method to ensure product quality, is the essential prerequisite to improve the corporation promptitude and is the important way to enhance corporation core competitiveness. Under the environment of supply chain management, it has become a shared target of the industry to accomplish procurement activities at the right time, at the right price, right quantity and good quality. As the initial part of internal logistics management activities in an enterprise, the key link in the supply chain management as well, purchasing plays a vital role in connecting internal various departments inside enterprises, and in linking enterprises in the entire supply chain between upstream and downstream outside of enterprises.This paper introduces the basic theory of procurement management, procurement management, such as the definition and classification, ABC classification, EOQ model, AHP method; Chongqing HT companies for the study, analyzed the company’s current procurement and inventory status quo, in classification of raw materials, the use of the ABC model and analytic hierarchy process method of combining the raw material for a reasonable classification, considering the impact on the classification of the key raw materials, easy to get and economic factors, determined by mutual comparison of each factor weights; in the classification based on the proposed purchase of raw materials strategy, using the EOQ model to calculate the passenger door, a dozen raw EOQ and economic order point; and use AHP proposed supplier evaluation and selection of improvement strategies, which can reduce logistics costs and improve economic efficiency.
